The Manchester Township tax collector is responsible for collecting Manchester Township property and street light taxes. The tax collector also collects taxes for Central York School District and York County.
LST – Local Service Tax
EIT – Earned Income Tax
The Local Service Tax is levied where a resident works while the Earned Income Tax is levied where a resident lives. It is important to ensure that your employer is correctly withholding and remitting these taxes. This becomes especially critical for residents who move from out of the area and residents working from home.
If you have questions regarding either of these taxes, please contact the York Adams Tax Bureau (YATB). The YATB is the collection bureau for the LST and EIT.
